About Us
Nurture by Nuri had a long a birthing process. A few years ago, my husband and I changed our diet as well as how we consume products. We ventured on a journey of a healthier, fresher, more natural lifestyle.
We began experimenting with different products, including our skincare with body butters, looking for clean (vegan and cruelty-free) ingredients. Then the pandemic hit. We had a tough time adjusting, especially me. I was searching for purpose and slipped into a depression that was hard to shake. I felt like I didn't have a purpose or a talent.
God threw me a lifeline. "I created you, so therefore you're creative." I repeated this for a year.
Fast forward, we were blessed with our daughter a year later. We were even more motivated by her and began sourcing organic ingredients, perfecting our formulas. I started to believe that I was creative after all, that my anxiety wasn't bigger than me. “Nurture by Nuri” was then born. I would tell anyone that "God birthed someone through me, so He could birth something from me." Ain't He good?!
Nuri is part of our daughter’s name, meaning “Light or Fire." The full meaning of her name is "God, who is gracious through my fire." Naturally, we named the business after our blessing as a representation of God's grace through such a dark time.
What we hope to accomplish with "Nurture by Nuri" is providing clean, ethically sourced, nutrient-rich products that blesses you and your skin. We pray that you pour into yourself and continue to be inspired daily. Encourage you to be courageous in taking care of your well being and invest in your self-care routine.
